My name is Tim Drinkard, and I’m originally from Oskaloosa, Kansas. I was ordained in the Baptist faith in 2014 and began serving as a missionary in the country of Panama in 2017. During my five and a half years there, I worked across the country in seven of its ten provinces. In 2019, I began focusing on the Emberá people near the Darién Jungle. There, in February 2022, I helped establish the first independent, self-sustaining, autonomous Baptist church in their indigenous history.
 

While simultaneously planting the church, I also led two large-scale refugee camp ministries—sharing the gospel with many people from around the world traveling through the Darién Jungle, including former members of ISIS. I was able to distribute the gospel message in over fifteen languages. By God’s grace, I saw many souls came to Christ during this time. In 2022 the Lord called me to move to the states and plant a church in Portland, Oregon. As of right now I have a street ministry to the homeless in Northeast/Southeast Portland. I assemble hygiene kits  which contain the gospel message and life-saving Narcan kits donated regularly throuh the Multnomah County Health Dept. These are incdible tools for reaching the unwanted of Portland.
